Admission Procedure

Mark the Date: The Common Aptitude Analysis is conducted on the third Saturday of November annually. For instance, it will be on November 18, 2023.
Understand the Test Format: This online test assesses English, Hindi, and Mathematics skills, appropriate to the candidate's age.
Eligibility Notification: The school notifies parents about the eligibility for admission in August of the year preceding admission.
Registration Requirement: Ensure your child has completed the class preceding the one they are applying for and is registered for the test.
Age and Educational Background: The entry level is Class IV, so applicants should have passed Class III, preferably from an English medium school. Age criteria are strictly enforced.
Obtaining the Prospectus and Test Papers: Purchase the prospectus and Common Aptitude Analysis paper set. Prices vary based on location and whether it's obtained in person or by post. For example, in India, the prospectus costs INR 500 at the school counter or INR 550 by post. The paper set costs INR 100 per set at the counter or INR 150 by post. Prices differ for SAARC countries and overseas applicants.
Registration Fees: As of April 1, 2021, the registration fee is INR 21,500 for local students and USD 1073 for overseas students. Payments for postal items must be made via Demand Draft in favor of 'Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer'.
Admission for Classes up to IX: The Common Aptitude Analysis is for admissions up to Class IX. For Class XI, admissions are based on Class X board results, with preference given to students scoring above 90%.
Weightage for Siblings and Alumni Children: Special consideration is given to sisters of current students and children of alumni.
Merit List and Interaction: Admissions are based on performance in the Aptitude Analysis and an interaction session held between December and February.
Special Provisions for Overseas Candidates: Overseas applicants can request alternative interaction dates and join the school in July.
